From the corporate office down to each individual store, engagement in the local community is a strong part of the Giant and Martin’s culture. We focus our efforts on improving the lives of children and fighting hunger. We work hard to be a good corporate citizen in every market we serve and support countless community efforts with our time, products and monetary donations.

Last year, GIANT donated $19.1 million in combined cash and product contributions through customer, vendor, associate and corporate contributions.

Not one of these significant contributions could be achieved without the active participation of our customers, associates and vendor partners. In addition to supporting organizations through monetary and product donations, GIANT associates enthusiastically donate their time by volunteering in events and community activities throughout the year. GIANT is proud to raise community awareness through health and wellness initiatives and multi-cultural educational events that celebrate the diversity of our communities. Additionally, we are committed to running our business in a socially responsible way from supporting local farmers to minimizing our impact on the environment.
